PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUND
EQUIPMENT
Now that NHS Preschool has extended hours, students are enjoying the outdoors more than ever. PAL received a request to help fund some new playground equipment and we were happy to purchase new trucks, little tikes cars and balance bikes! PAL is also funding a new outdoor playhouse for Preschool, which is currently being built...stayed tuned for pictures!

ADULT SOCIAL AT SMUTTYNOSE
PAL hosted a Parents' Night Out at Smuttynose in September. We had over 30 adults in attendance and the weather and food were great! Looking forward to the next adult social!

NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

PAL has worked hard to find meaningful ways parents can support their children and be more involved at NHS. This year we implemented the Classroom Coordinators, who are parents that act as a liaison between the classroom teacher and parents. Classroom Coordinator roles may vary depending on the teacher, but could include coordinating volunteers for classroom celebrations, gathering supplies or organizing holiday or end of year teacher gifts.
PAL has also implemented several new subcommittees including, the Social Media/Communications Committee, Teacher Appreciation Committee, and Events Committee. We are always looking for people to help! If any of these subcommittees interest you, please reach out! info@nhspal.com
NEW COMMINICATION TOOL

PAL introduced a new communication tool, Konstella, in an effort to streamline communications, increase volunteerism, and foster a close-knit parent community.
SPIRIT WEAR

Spirit Wear is always a hit! A portion of every purchase goes directly to PAL. We love hosting this event and seeing all the kids in their school gear!
FAMILY BOOK CLUB

PAL will be purchasing books for NHS' very first family book club.
